I've found my career path
After deciding not to go to university I joined abcam on a 3 month contract as an assistant in supply chain. During that time I started working closely with the software developers in the IT team. I knew then I had found my career path and I became a software tester. After 6 years in testing and achieving a level 4 software testing apprenticeship with distinction, I made another move and am now a digital product manager for our community squad.

It's an amazing feeling to make a difference
I joined as a scientist after my PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology. Working on process improvement in a great team gave me a lot of opportunities to learn new science and I had amazing colleagues and managers who helped me grow. I found my own career interest by leading a team to provide high quality immunogen for our antibody product development. It's an amazing feeling to know that my work can contribute to providing good tools for our scientists worldwide.
