About the role:

This is an exciting and impactful role in a dynamic team supporting bespoke antibody development for external customers.

This is a customer facing role in which the individual will work closely with the sales and technical teams. The individual should be knowledgeable of antibody discovery technologies and associated assays for biotech or pharma industries.

The role involves working with the sales team to fully understand the unique requirements of each customer to draft a detailed scientific project proposal for review by the technical team.

You will also be responsible for a comprehensive handover to the project manager upon project initiation to ensure smooth transition to the lab team.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the tracking of opportunities between sales team and lab team, ensuring technical team have good visibility on upcoming proposals for review and are aware of required timelines.
  • Be responsible for generation and presentation of technical project proposals, including all necessary commercial information.
  • Take ownership for the generation and presentation of tailored slide decks outlining our technical and commercial approaches.
  • Ensure all the proposals are delivered and executed in a timely manner.
  • Support the sales team in lead generation and other business-related activities, such as contract negotiations, as necessary. 
  • Keep up to date on advancements in technologies and processes.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of all process costs and understand pricing models. 

About you:

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences with 5 years’ experience in a technical commercial setting, or a PhD in Life Sciences with 1-2 years in a technical commercial setting.

You should possess an understanding of antibody discovery and development.

You should be a highly organised, detail-oriented person with excellent 
communication and presentation skills.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work cross-functionally with a high degree of independence.
