Service Transition Manager
We are seeking a Service Transition Manager to join our team to provide support to ongoing programmes and projects, ensuring that the following is in-place for operational support:
Work closely with project teams to ensure key transition activities and documentation, for example: knowledge transfer, service acceptance criteria, support model and ITSM tooling changes are completed.
Working closely with Service Delivery team to on-board new 3rd party support vendors into our core support teams and tools.
Managing key stakeholders to understand expectations, defining service levels and communicate operational readiness and risks throughout a project.
Appropriate core process changes such as (but not limited to) Major Incident Management, Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests are defined and delivered.
Developing upon Service Transition Management policies and processes that underpin the effective transition of services into support
You will have the ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements, make difficult decisions and understand any potential risks and repercussions of services going live without being successfully transitioned.
With a broad IT background, you will ideally have exposure to both applications as well as infrastructure environments and have the ability to take a holistic view of the entire service. Any experience of ERP implementations would be highly desirable.
