About the Role:
As our incredible growth continues, Abcam is looking for a talented Senior Demand Management Coordinator to join our team to build and foster relationship with Strategic and Partner Account Managers as well as our Customer Operations team to support the Abcam mission of growing these important accounts. The US delivers a high level of revenue to our global business and this role is key to continuing that trend. This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Team.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Manage all Daily Order Bank line items for Strategic and Partner accounts ensuring stock is allocated in a timely manner and any delays are communicated quickly.
- Proactively work with Supply Chain teams to drive improvements
- First point of contact for the Commercial team to support customer demand
- Work closely with the Demand Planning Manager to highlight any unexpected spikes in demand for all account tiers
- Funnel all supply queries from commercial partners to the appropriate contact within Supply Chain or other departments and suppliers as needed
- Measure weekly performance key performance indicators
- Collaborate with the rest of the supply chain team to increase efficiency and maintain service levels
You will have a bachelor’s degree or professional experience in a supply chain or demand management environment with a passion for delighting your customers at every opportunity. Your communication will be strong both verbally and written and you will be comfortable with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
You will be able to problem solve and adapt to the changing demands of the business and if you have an understanding of basic project management tools and experience working with Tableau, it will be an advantage but not essential.
