Sales Enablement Manager

About the Role 

Sales Enablement creates an environment for the global sales teams to excel. We do this by setting processes and frameworks which create healthy tension across the sales team to drive efficiency and improve performance. The Sales Enablement Manager will play a key role in driving global standardisation on processes and simplifying sales interfaces with other functions.  

 Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Develop consistent ways of working across regions by creating an enterprise process model, clarifying process roles and process ownership 
  • Drive continuous improvement across sales processes to improve sales team efficiency by owning the CI method, prioritising areas for improvement and ensuring benefits are captured and realised 
  • Act as a single point of contact for other parts of the business to simplify engagement with the four sales regions  
  • Collaborate with Abcam Digital to seamlessly deploy systems, drive CRM adoption and process adherence  
  • Collate a global design for Sales Technology through a network of SMEs and ensure that a single, integrated design is presented to the Abcam Digital team for development and delivery 
  • Collaborate with Marketing on the global Marketing Qualified Leads programme 
  • Support the prioritisation and deployment of insight-driven sales collateral  
  • Support the development of Sales team KPIs to enable process performance to be measured and improved

  • Collaborative mindset: You thrive in cross-functional environments and can partner with team members across functions 
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, detail-orientated 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Builds credibility and influence through track record of delivery 
  • Has effective interpersonal skills and can build positive relationships 
  • Strong bias to action: able to work at a very fast pace and are comfortable making quick decisions 
  • Data-driven and analytical: You constantly measure results to improve and validate your approaches 
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
