“My first month at abcam was a whirlwind. I was blown away with the genuine kindness and welcoming environment. The culture at abcam, and the people behind it, are a big part of why I've stayed here to this day.”
“Working as an accountant, I wouldn't usually have the opportunity to feel that my work has an impact on curing disease. Here at abcam, I know our business is helping researchers discover more, allowing them to find cures for disease – and that feeling of impact is pretty unique for me.”
“Working at abcam means I constantly get to improve on the latest technologies. Every day I’m involved in making our miRNA detection assays better and faster, helping scientists explore their field of research in the best way possible.”

“Abcam's technology is unique and important to scientific research, and it's a privilege to be building software tools to serve that end, working directly with some of the smartest scientists we have. More than that, it's a huge amount of fun working together.”
Senior Software Engineer
I joined abcam because I saw it as a great opportunity to become a part of a growing company with a culture that nurtures teamwork, and cultivates learning. I think that’s very much what I’ve found since joining too, and I’m proud of our initiative as a team. I’m looking forward to seeing abcam rise to the top of the totem pole of life science companies, thanks to the work we do together.
Scientific Support was a great fit for me as I had always been the go-to person in the lab for optimizing experiments, and have always enjoyed helping people solve problems. Today, I’m part of a team of customer facing scientists that offer support for our entire catalog of over 130,000 products, and that gives me a huge opportunity to really help people.
The great thing about abcam is how the business empowers its employees to be flexible and innovative when working to help customers. I had a customer come to me for help with an antibody that they desperately needed to get to work for a tight deadline. I was able to determine their requirements, and sent the customer an antibody from our catalog produced specifically for what they needed. This product worked well and the customer was able to finish a publication, which was really gratifying for me as well as the customer.
We succeed because we’re committed to reaching for new ideas, sometimes taking risks to go above and beyond. At abcam, we make sure that our colleagues are rewarded for that determination, and feel optimistic and excited about their future with us. These are just some of the benefits enjoyed by our US colleagues, their partners and their families:
